Wiper arm flew off while on the Golden Gate bridge

It's been raining here in Northern Cali. My driver side wiper arm flew off while I was on the Golden Gate bridge. I'm like WTF over. The guy behind me swerved and almost got into the south bound lane. That's what you get when you drive too close. It was classic. Luckily, I treated my glass with Rain-X. Anyone has an extra wiper arm assembly? Need the driver side.

Haha, this happend to me a while ago. I was a bit luckier though - it landed in the gap between the bonnet and the windscreen. Wierd thing to happen!

Make sure you push them down fairly often as there is nothing to keep them retained besides friction.

Silver matches the little horse statues you were going to mount on the hood.

The wiper arms should have a little keeper clip that "helps" keep them in place on the detent of the wiper shaft. Make sure it has some tension to it.

During the last storm, my pass side wiper blade did a little dance at the end of the wiper arm and then proceeded to bail out. I still had the drivers side wiper and was going to let it go, but then I remembered that those were new blades. Have you ever tried to find a shiny black wiper arm on a shiny black street at night in the rain?
