Trunk elephant skin reinstall

Would like to reinstall the elephant skin in the trunk of my '74 2002.  It's in pretty good shape but fell off after 50 years.  It seems like I could simply glue it.  Is there any particular glue I should use to reinstall it?  Also want to install new sound proofing on the hood and have the material.  Any tips?

3M Adhesive Spray 90 on both the material and the surface should do the trick.  Let it get tacky and then stick it on.  I assume you have the original boards.

I just used contact cement ... cuz I had it.

I have had good success with 3M Super 90 spray adhesive. I usually find it at Home Depot.

Have original covered boards.  Need to glue the vertical material shown in John’s photo.  I’ll get the 3M Super 90 spray.
