Alex,

The white connector (circled) is the tap for the #86 relay terminal. This allows use of your Driving Lights only when the high beams are "on".

The wire from your (+) battery to the #30 relay terminal should be fused (15A).

Here is a sketch that may help you with installing relays for your lights.

I installed one of these harnesses in my 1970 BMW 1600 to solve the relay problem for my headlights.  Inexpensive and well made.  Found in on Amazon - Universal H4 9003 Relay Harness Conversion kit Complete with Ceramic Sockets H6054 H5054 H6054LL 6014 6052 6053.  Search for it on Amazon.

They are. At least mine is.

Sorry...thought your 1600 body came with only 6 fuses.

Here's some help with the 12-fuse... almost the same, but twice as fun!

These sketches are for the later square-light cars, so the color coding or fuse numbers might be different, but the circuit is mostly universal.

Cheers,

John

It should be a simple matter of just unplugging the two plugs at the headlamps, plugging the harness into one female headlamp  plug and plugging the two females ceramic plugs into the headlamps themselves. That's likely all that is needed. I suggest doing it yourself 😎

The wire gauge looks to be on the light side. Try to keep the wire lengths as short as possible.

Have fun...do it yourself and save the $$$.

Cheers,

John
