Bought an e12!

I asked if he had seen that Bavaria on CL in Indiana? He said no but I know about this e12  

this required further investigation. 
one owner car garage kept in Pittsburg all its life. It’s fairly clean for Pittsburg. 

 

this required a Uhaul. Ten years ago I would have just driven it home. I’m fairly confident it would have made it back to Cleveland.

Wow! What a beauty. The e12 is so classy. I love my e28, but the subtle differences of the e12 are very cool.

It’s amazing how much stuff is NLA for the e12. For example, the muffler. Some e28 stuff can be made to work but still.

Euro bumpers arrived today. Motorsport rear subframe mounts from W&N too. Test fitted the wheels today. Time to order tyres or tires.

The e12 is to the e28 what the 2000CS is to the e9... Some stuff swaps, most stuff is NLA.

Super cool John!  It does look really good.  The bumpers will really transform it.  Have fun with it.

So I got the early front bumper by accident. W&N is sending me a new late center. The same guy I got the suspension from sold me these nice center caps for my wheels. Now to decide what emblems to use. So far this looks to be the worst of the rust. I’ll probably end up miging some metal in there. Surprisingly I’m not really fighting any of the bolts.
