Cylinder Head Cracked (Grrr)

It is what it is.  I have a cracked cylinder head on my "73 Tii (number 2).  I understand I need to replace the top end with a new or used one.  Any thoughts, suggestions, where to find one, and/or if this is an "opportunity" to modify my otherwise stock car.  I am inclined to keep it as original as possible, but open to suggestions/thoughts.

   I had a similar situation.  I'm restoring  documented '72 tii Alpina. I have the matching #'s block but I didn't have a '71 date stamped 121ti  head.   I located a standard 121ti  date stamped head that had the hole for the fuel pump. Filled and surfaced the hole and put bigger (tii) valves in it and it is now on the block looking very original. Get a standard E12 date stamped '72  or '73 and do the same.  Don't fret man.

At first blush, can the crack be welded? Otherwise.

I have a few heads and depending on what you are going to do, might work out.

I would sell my 64 Stingray to Vic Leonardo and then take the cash and do whatever I want.....But that's just me.....?

I recently also had a cracked head. Unfortunately, it could not be welded as the head also had too much corrosion from the antifreeze not being changed. I then tried to find a used head. After going through and disassembling 4 heads to find a good one and having to get a valve job done, $2k is almost a bargain!
