The lack of engine photos and a glimpse of poorly painted engine bay are a good sign...

Wow, someone spent some serious money to get it to this point, but why?  Hopefully the turbo stripes and waist trim are removable and not painted on.  Too bad they didn't paint the engine bay Inka and most likely the trunk got the same black paint restoration.  These guys in Palm Desert have a lot of high mileage Porsches for sale.  Don't know if they come from Palm Spring estate sales or the auctions.  This one looks like it was someone's pride and joy that the widow needed to sell.

I personally wouldn’t pay more than 10k assuming the black crap would peel off, and there is no rust.

 

I am not a fan of any de trimmed car or black engine bays.
