  1. Hi Everyone, Sorry for the delay with the issues on PetrolJunky.com but I was able to figure out how to start collecting cars again. I have some cleanup to do still on the searches but its closer. Classic Cars For Sale - Petrol Junky PETROLJUNKY.COM The Petrol Junky's Classics Crawler is great for finding undervalued or hard-to-find classic cars.
  2. Hi, I manage it, I have it on a new server and the python is being grumpy, I will try to fix it this week. Matt
  3. Hello, Apparently, makemodelsearch died after I sold it. Anyone interested in me making another? Busy programmer, but need a fun project. Let me know your thoughts. Matt
  4. I personally wouldn’t pay more than 10k assuming the black crap would peel off, and there is no rust. I am not a fan of any de trimmed car or black engine bays.
  5. Ha! Thanks for that Ray, just what I needed ?
  6. The lack of engine photos and a glimpse of poorly painted engine bay are a good sign...
  7. Things like this blow my mind.... https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/ctd/d/1971-bmw-2002-coupe-restored/6645625721.html
  8. Hello, I am not sure if you guy know but I am a web developer and have been for over 25 years. I am also an avid 02 guy. I am building a new bmw registry and hope to include all the missing functionality of the others. Let me know if you guys have a suggestion for the reg or if you think I am wasting my time. Matt
  9. Ah, issue is the car is near perfect and I am getting a door and was hoping not to to touch anything else
  10. Okay, so I am looking at buying a Fjord 02, the door needs to be replaced, the car's paint looks great, is it better to let the painter match the color or use the color code? I know, it's a tricky question, just not sure how good the painters are at matching the colors.
  11. Guessing it didn't sell? I tried to deal with a 2002 in HI, it was a nightmare. Hopefully you can keep it at a friends in the states and handle the sale after the move. I like the car, but having a hard time with the round lights on the 74 :)
  12. Ha, I am in Durango, I would have enjoyed seeing this on the road.
  13. Looking for the ignition switch for a 73, with a key 2 is better. Needs to turn smoothly. Matt
  14. Hello, Been working on this car with @danco_ , or more like Danco has been helping me with it. I have collected a lot of great chrome, car is out of paint and body and looks nice, needs a final cut and buff and it is good to go. I have a rebuilt m10 installed and running. It will need the body wiring harness installed, it is included. For some reason the original harness has some exposed wires and is not safe to use. I have it stored in a garage in AZ and have lost interest at the moment, I don't need the money but am willing to take a loss and sell it for $10k as it sits if anyone wants to finish it. The car was bought from someone who bought it from a salvage yard so the title is salvage, I was told for $250 inspection it can be reinstated but I am not sure. It has supersprint exhaust, header, H&R springs, new headliner with oem fabric, new chrome rear taillights, very nice euro tail lights, nice nardi wheel, clean dash with a couple small cracks and working tii clock, recaro seats... lots of parts. I am sure someone is going to mock me for the $10k tag, I am into it much more and once again don't need to sell it. If someone wants it, then it is a nice project and will be a very nice car when it is finished. The only issue we saw mechanically is that it is going to need a control arm. Most parts are included except the passenger rear glass, seat rails for the recaros, beltline trim, bumper mounts for the sides, I think that is it. The original salt and pepper carpet is there and was cleaned, it looks great.
  15. Hello, I am looking for a nice engine for a project build, if anyone has a M20 (which I will carburetor) or a strong m10. Either engine can be stock or built as long as they are clean and run strong. Thanks, Matt
  16. Hey Doug! I finally got the booster rebuilt on the 1600, hope your house project across the street is going well! How well does the "G245 5-speed overdrive $450.00" run?
