I've only seen pics and someone else posted about them a few months ago. They look interesting, though I'm not so sure about those filters...

Yeah not sure about the filters but they are foam not screen mesh. I've always heard foams are better than mesh.

Terry's drive...planning on it.

a yeah; well, I've been looking for a 40mm solution............right now too pricey for me but is HIGH on looks.

I'm assuming yours are the newer type dcoe 40 and are slip on. If so i have a set i bought from jam eng. this is how i found out that the slip on does not work with my italian dcoe. pm me if interested. One is slightly blemished though.

Technically, those aren't 'velocity stacks' as they're straight pipe.

 

And I bet they work fine.  Generally, Ireland's parts do.

 

But they remind me of something very different....

...I'm trying to recall what....
