Hi everyone

my car is coming along and im going to be buying wheels and suspension soon. My question is will 13x9 minilites with a 0 offset work? i will be running turbo flares.tire size i was aiming for was something like 205/60? I managed to find a pic of an 02 running what appeared to be 13x8 ats wheels but couldnt make out the tire size. I wont be going crazy low as im trying to put together almost a rally car for the British back roads haha so reasonable stroke length!

oh and the car is a 1502 so no Ti Spindles :/

kind regards

Dave

If you cut the original fenders (which you should if you are mounting turbo flares) it should fit. That should look pretty awesome... I love wide 13" wheels/tires. you can likely go a little wider then a 205 tire; I have 205/60 r13 mounted to stock turbines on stock fenders (unrolled) and they fit... barely.

Rally for the win!

Cheers,

When going for extreme wheel and tire sizes, especially with flares one must do your own measurements. There's tons of info online on building tools to take measurements.

9" wheels are too wide for 205 tires. There's a chart and info on TireRack.com that shows tire an wheel sizes.

thanks guys! well i went for the 205 because it appears to be nearly impossible to get 215 tires in the uk that will fit a 13" rim! as soon as i get the flares on and have searched all the tire options i will post photos on here!

:D

yeah im on the fence Tommy could go either way. At the minute i can afford some cheap 205/60r13s and stretch them on and then once im comfortable shell out the 140each for the 235s. ive found a company in the uk who produce minilite rep wheels and they do me a set of 13x9 with an et of -12 thats all they can go to. so im assuming this just means i will have more wheel on the outside than on the inside from the hub face?
