First time I've seen that style mounted on an 02 - are they the 4x100 set just discussed on FB with myself and Guido? Look great, quite a bit of offset. There's a guy doing centre caps in Italy too, but they're aluminium with the logo printed on them, no where near as nice as these.

This style is not shown, with a 4x100 PCD, in the History of Wheels page for Campagnolo:

http://www.histowheels.com/Campagnolo/

There are, however, some models missing from this source.  On the other hand, this style is shown in quite a few 4x98 sizes, for Alfa Alfettas, for example.  I'm not dismissing the possibility the Golf '02 wears from-the-factory 4x100 versions, but I'm also not dismissing the possibility that the Golf '02 is wearing either 4x98 rims or, less likely, 4x98 rims re-drilled to 4x100.  (I wouldn't be shocked to find out the Golf '02 is wearing 6x14, model 40767/BP, rims.)

Regards,

Steve

yeah, there was a lot of doubt on the FB thread, but I dug out another campag brochure from back in the day that shows this style available as 4x100 for an Opel Commodore.

Yep!  Thanks, Nick.  And 6x14.

(I guess I should have checked the 1979 Campagnolo folder first; it's mine. ?)

Best regards,

Steve

Have you seen yet more styles of Campagnolo center caps?

I am still counting my lucky stars.  Just came across a set:  56mm, brass alloy, raised letterings, enamel/paint, Campagnolo blue, italian flag stripes.
