Interesting that BMW never really addressed the seat issue, despite the consistent feedback from reviewers and testers. The NK didn't share seats with the 02 did it? You would think that the seats would be a really simple issue to solve....not produced in house, no re-tooling or change in manufacturing process. They were just too lazy and could sell it without fixing the problem? They did change slightly during the run of the model and there were some options, but the standard seats were never on par with the chassis. Why was BMW incapable of getting it right?

I recently acquired BMW factory tool 6023 for setting the Float level height in the Solex PHH Carburetors. I'm replacing the fuel line with Tygon hose and have a one liter gravity fuel tank for the supply.

it came with a 2000CS a friend recently purchased and I traded some parts for it
