Commonly available touch up paint near Malaga?

Has anyone found a commonly available touch up paint that's close in colour to Malaga? I know that the BMW paint is available, but it's horribly expensive,

and I just need something close for my "shabby driver"!

That looks just the ticket - but it only seems to be available in large volumes? I was looking for something in a small quantity, for touch-ups of chips etc..

There do seem to be quite a few common vehicles on the road that are at least similar in colour. Perhaps I should just buy a selection of likely looking touch-up tubes at Pep Boys and see what matches best?

I'll do some more Googling first.

I don't know about the US, but here in South Africa, I usually go to a paint shop and let them mix 500ml of paint for touch ups. Costs around $15 and then its a perfect match. I would try that first if I were you.

Go to paint supply house with your paint code and ask if they mix spray, and touch-up . Worked for me 20.00

Hang out at the Nail Polish counter at the local drug store. There must be something close in all the choices available today. Just tell them it is for your girlfriend/wife. I even found something close to Inka, that I used on my 76 beater.

Not sure what you consider "horribly expensive", but you can get a spray can from Paint Scratch for around $25 + shipping.

I believe Tower Paint is also an option.

Thanks! I may well end up going this route. My hope for a close colour commonly available as e.g. a paint pen for a few dollars in Pep Boys appears to be a vain one :-(

I went down to Sherwin Williams and had them colour match a chip of paint off my car. The result is very close indeed. However, I had to buy a quart, for $21, which is way more than I need!

The Sherwin Williams formula for the mix they made is:

MTS BURGUNDY

BAC COLORANT OZ   32   64   128
L1-BLUE              6(32)
R2-MAROON                5(32)     1(64)      1(128)
R3-MAGENTA        2(OZ)     3(32)     1(64)      1(128)
