cross referencing part number for strut mounts

Ok NK gurus...

I need your help. I need to replace the strut mounts on my 1967 BMW 2000 tilux. The couple of quotes I've received on replacement mounts is around 185.00 for EACH mount which seems steep in my mind. In the attached image, the part I'm referencing is number 10.

strutdiagram.png

The part number for the mount is 31 33 1 101 663

I entered that part number into a search on ebay and came up with a couple of different sets of strut mounts listed for the 3.0csi and e12 5 series, all priced significantly cheaper than when I asked for a 2000.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-BAV-E12-E24-Front-Strut-Mount-Set-2-Genuine-NEW-/150673522730?hash=item2314d7802a&item=150673522730&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr#ht_1715wt_1270

and if you click on the part number listed here, again, number 10 in the part breakdown:

http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/NK/Sedan/Europe/2000tilux-4-Zyl/LHD/M/1967/browse/front_axle/mounting_parts_f_front_spring_strut/

It shows the usage for that part to also include 1500-2000cs, e12 5, 2.5cs-3.0csl, e24 6, and 2500-3.3li.

With that many different applications, I wouldn't expect those mounts to run that high, and if, in fact, I search for strut mounts say for a '72 3.0csl, even from a vendor like Jaymic in the UK, they are listed for closer to 230.00 for a PAIR after shipping. That's quite a savings, so can anyone confirm cross references between these cars as being correct? It would be nice to get a pair for nearly the price of ONE. Thanks in advance.

Be advised that I received two different pairs of strut mounts, one Boge, one KYB. Both had the mounting studs pressed in from the wrong side. (opposite of what the diagram and real life shows).

Cheers!

Very strange about the mismatched mounts.  All studs face upwards, if not you can't attach them to fender.  But they can be pressed out and reversed if you like the look.  ?
