Flasher Relay Replacement, $8 at Autozone instead of $70

If anyone ever needs to replace their flasher relay don't pay $70 for a new one. Spend $8 at Autozone. Tridon EL13. It's a 3 plug variation as the newer flasher relays don't need to be grounded. Eliminates the fourth plug which is the ground on the factory plug. Works great.

how did you connect it to the plug?

The plug and flasher pins are in a 'l' shape. The EL13 flasher pins are in a 'c' shape.

Hello All, 

 

Am bringing this back, all the links I found are dead..

 

I believe my turn signal relay is defective, the lights and the 4 way are blinking good but is not  showing on the dash panel.

 

From what I have read, the flasher controls with separate coils the outside light and the dash panel lights. So one of my coils might be bad. I opened up and played with it but no luck.

 

I dont really want to pay the going price for a new one, wow they are expensive.

 

Any good links on how to rewire the newer style flasher?

Any chance that your dash blinker bulb could have burned out?

Hope this helps your problem. Check all your grounds if your dash indicator isn’t blinking.
