It's hard to tell since I didn't lock anything in, but I'm guessing I'm going to have to cut 1.5" off the edge of it and it should sit right along the lines of the flares.

good call on the s2000 motor, Ive been tossing around that idea as well. Maybe buying one of those half cut cars on ebay that comes with the rear suspension as well=WIN

Getting the whole car would be great^ you could do some cool things if you had all the s2000 suspension.

I bought them from another member, but I might end up selling them because these new fenders are changing what I'm trying to achieve.

First I would like to say I love your build. The craftsmanship is exceptional. The only question I have is are you going to do something with the valance above the exhaust, to make it like it was natural to have 2 pipes under it.

I already filled that. I'm not going to run a rear exit exhaust anymore.

Nothing great to update. Just working the sheet metal... trying to get everything even and straight without caking on bondo.

I would just be careful of cutting too much spring while the car is unloaded, windows and interior and a full tank can weigh quite a lot.

well i'm just going to leave this here

First coat of primer sealer with a guide coat on top

All sanded down with self etcher on the bare metal

second coat of primer sealer

First coat of SEM bright white

This is the only one the lighting was proper to give you an idea of the SEM bright white.

for future criticism the paint is going to have flaws and never be perfect. The aim was to create a lasting base that I could go back and work on in the future when I have the time to fix the details. I eliminated all of the rust and used quality components to keep it from reoccurring (preppready, POR15, SEM Metalock poly primer base, SEM Tru Prime urethane 2nd primer, and SEM Tru Prime primer sealer for the last coat), so the effort I put forth was to create a good seal. Anyways I can justify my decisions all day, but I wanna drive this bitch.

I'm heading up to pick up more paint in the morning and will be applying another coat.
