MORE Interesting Body Work

Recommended Posts

The guy was definitely "jones-in" for a CSL bat. The back end of it has a very similar to the look of my car (back in the day) minus the rear wing and hoop. Nice big fat Pirelli P7's on it - I remember seeing a picture of this car somewhere (Roundel maybe?). Just came back to me was in the Roundel I am almost sure of it advertised as a "Baby" CSL..... It definitely has the funky ALPINA body kit on it only with rounded fenders, added the CSL grilles in the front fenders and has a very CSL esque front spoiler. The only thing they didn't get on there were splitters.....

I remember that car and may have been there where/when those pictures were taken. Boy that was a long time ago, I was probably 5 years old then. :)

My dad may also has pictures from that era. He's been scanning them in as he finds them. Not many of the old race and car pictures yet though.
