  1. My kit was supplied by cj who did the organisation with GC - They shortened the struts and fit the coilover unit circa 2008 (IIRC). Maybe they've changed the design since? I can't see it on their site anymore, but they used to do a whole front and rear setup which is what I got. Pic for reference at highest setting.
  2. On the Granada with the GC, I had to use a 10mm spacer and down to 195/45. I think 8mm would be enough too. I'm thinking it would be about the same if I put these wheels on the M2 with the IE CO. Thanks. So you're overall ET is around 25? With an 8mm spacer, yes. And that's kinda where you want to be. Cool. That is a relief. I have 16X7 205/45 on all fours with ET25. I've building some coilovers now and was getting nervous about the clearance on the backside. Hi Colin, Just FYI - I test fit a 16x7 et28 and it didnt clear the the perch of the GC coilover. Also test fit a 15x7 et25 and that did fit (just) but ended up running a small spacer (I think 5mm). It might be a case of just seeing how you go.
  3. lol at the Beyemdoobaroo comment
  4. Is there any more info on these MM 5 speeds with spur cut gears around?
  5. Wheel whore! ;-p ... but please get these, put on some low profile rubber and wind down your coils I wouldn't even have to wind it down, the bumpers would be scrapping the asphalt, ha. we'll organise a group buy for strengthened oil pans soon

  7. Manimal, are you running 15x8 et15 fronts?? I seem to recall seeing you test fitting some Diamond racing 15x8's on the rear..?
  8. I might wind my coilovers down for fun one day but we get defected over here for being too low (which means no driving the car until stock suspension is back on) Note to self. Buy rear coilovers.
  9. Kris my schwarz brother - your vehicle is looking stunning as always. What on earth are you going to do with the RM's?
  10. Hi Todd, No problem. Fronts: Alpina copies - 15x6 et12 with 195/45r15 Yokohama S-Drives Rears: Alpina genuines - 15x7 et12 with 195/45r15 Yokohama S-Drives I originally had 15x7's on the front but the 15x6's were much nicer to ride on and there was less to worry about with clearance. The front's are actually a friends I'm just borrowing until he wants to put them on his!
  11. Any one got a loose one floating about? Thought I'd try here before venturing over to S14 net... Doesn't have to look pretty paint wise, just straight. Cheers Tom
  12. Can't wait to see the stance with coilovers and Schmidts! I trust they'll clear the coilover???
  13. Fantastic! I love the Gorge Rd. I did Classic Adelaide a couple of years ago - loved every minute of it.
  14. Welcome to the board Alvin - nice to have another Aussie on! Let us know if you venture over Melbourne way.
  15. See if you can test fit them, but all things taken into account you should be able to make them fit with spacers, hub adapter and longer lugs. Theres plenty of room in those flares.
  16. Yeh, after re-reading it I think you're right. Looks like it moved from NSW. My thoughts were there were 2 in NSW and 1 in QLD, now 1 NSW, 1 QLD and 1 SA.
  17. http://aussieexotics.com/forum/bmw-m-power/1974-bmw-2002-turbo-8859.0.html Yay - another one has come down under. I think this makes only about 4 in the country. Is the owner here???
  18. 1. you'll need an adapter to get it to 57.1mm bore 2. I've had difficulty clearing a coilover strut with about 5" backspace on a set of wheels so it may be touch and go for you... 3. You'll probably need longer studs/lugs 4. I can't recall what group 2 flares look like but they'll want to be big motherf'ers 5. As previously mentioned, brake clearance might be an issue but the wheels are low offset so again, touch and go
  19. Thanks Matt - had someone ask me the other day about a sunroof in an 02 and I said I'd only really seen it done once correctly but couldn't find your pics. So, thankyou!
  20. Hi Matt, I remember quite some time back you did a sunroof conversion basically cutting the roof skin and transferring that accross along with the hardware. Do you still have pics available of this? Its stuck with me all this time... Many thanks Tom
  21. not at the price you originally got them for.... ;-) Which is the same price they are now... AUD wasn't as good back then ;-)
