    I would hope that sellers would not be pushing a buyer to opt for the Friends & Family Payment...or a Zelle Payment.......both of which have ZERO Security...but if I was put in that situation...I would ask as I mentioned before....it matters not what the "Good Folks" would do...as those are not the ones that are cheating folks.....it's the ones that insist on avoiding the secured methods of payment.

    fastricky - good post. I'm one of the guys that got taken by a parasite in the 2002 Classifieds FB Group.....just shameful. If anyone wants to do some different payments - I think a few things for me are in order: 1 - Picture of Drivers License 2 - Picture of Power Bill or something like that 3 - Phone call If they can't do above...i will pass....it's not worth it to get burned again ...but I probably still use some sort of thing with recourse...such as PayPal (not friends/family method).

    It will be fun regardless.......we will make it fun. Buddy of mine is coming from TN to co-drive my car...if we have to run the 500 Treadwear Street Tires..so be it. The young bloods are always faster.....but I like to tell myself I still have some skills left...hahah See ya there!!

    Looking for the following to get a headstart on 2002 Refresh without taking the car down/apart 1 - Front Control Arms 2 - Diff Bracket 3 - Rear Subframe Bushings (i'm looking to reuse the housings) 4 - Front Subframe I will also be purchasing ....but if you have also looking for items such as any/all bushings, mounts, braided brake lines, strut mounts, swaybar end links, I'm rolling the low budget refurb as FYI. Thanks in advance for assistance!! I'm located in Charlotte, NC

    Heads Up for Buyers....On the hunt for a 2002 - found the following ad: https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/d/1971-bmw-2002/6649770050.html Called in a favor with a fellow BMW nut/friend to inspect as i am not local. Nice owner...however the car is much different than the ad represents - just mentioning as a heads-up for anyone that might be going to see it 1 - Has bondo in rear quarters 2 - RR has been in some damage - dented under bumper 3 - Rust in many places...not terminal..but not great....RR Rocker, Driver Fender Pocket...Driver Door Bottom, Spare tire well..under rear bumper...and scattered 4 - Fresh set of Webers...car will idle..but cannot be driven in current state 5 - Needs all suspension bushings 6 - No carpet (pics show it having carpet) It's nice that it has many many records....however...much was neglected/not addressed Car has lots of great/new parts...but....It's not a $7k car by any means...it's a $1000 body with $3500 in very recent goodies IMHO
