  1. Highly unlikely but they make eskort mk1/2 shells so u never know.
  2. And how one knows if it’s metric or imperial? I’m so not googling a ”metric cock”!
  3. Okay i searched ”drain cock” in interwbs… took me to -um, non-automotive/radiator sites of humans maneuvering unspeakable things. Took hours to get thru that. Enough of that i though. Then i remebered someone mention about cutting a milk bottle or jug for coolant draining so searched ”milk jugs”… I give up.
  4. I took my computer apart i couldn’t find any files in it.
  5. No I haven’t. Wired alarm system by instructions and tapped c/l unit to it. Tank lid actuator found new life as trunk lock actuator.
  6. Nicely done! I did mine with Cobra alarm & E30 central locking unit + actuators. Locks trunk lid too
  7. Took locking unit out one diff and opened for inspection.
  8. So does anyone know how deep oe hardening go? I know that Drexler pressure plates have some meat to work with but how about ZF? Here is my p/plate that kissed heavily w/ friction plate.
  9. I don’t have ZRP rod weights but would like to know also. I run OE rods in my engine - never failed. Does not buy chinese

  11. Pressure plate took some hit unfortunarely. I think it’s cuz friction plate lost teeth. G/r is oe 4.1.
  12. Two were completely off, rest loose.
  13. No. One friction plate had none left but this didn't jam it.
  14. Nope. All bearings are going to go thou. There was good teespoonful of metal on speed sensor magnet...
  15. So ppl like mysteries right? Or it is no mystery at all? It's 1st for me anyways... Last track outing (q) lap times were in a ballpark. Came to pits and when i (later us) tried to push it under pit tent it didn't want to go backwards. Not even a little. Somthing was jamming big time. Removed rh h/shaft - no go. Off came lh h/shaft and now it rolls backwards. What is broken? Opening soon...
  16. With your fabrication skills i have no doubt that you couldn’t make one from scratch. Take hager brackets from old if needs be. Repair part looks ok so maybe all it takes is just some trimming here and there - maybe not. It will be faster to get it done but… you wanna make it yourself don’t ya
  17. HiPo head work. New valve seals. Moving bits assembled. Valves to be adjusted in a bit. Hideous to work when there is barely room to move around the garage. Too many things to do. ÄOh well.
  18. Some pics if someone is intersted...
  19. Make sure valves are adjusted correctly.
  20. Support the engine (maybe lift a bit). Take it with the engine bracket so two bolts (17 mm) off from the block and one nut & washer from cross member.
  21. Wonder how it does. 1973 BMW 2002 Tii COLLECTINGCARS.COM
