  6. not an expert either, but I have a set of 15's that are 195/50/15 and they are et33 and they rubbed just ever so slightly on bumps, so I am gonna run et11 13" intra's and get a BFH to roll the fenders. You might need a small spacer with et34. can we get more of an expert than Dave and I, as the two of us together make a marginal tire changer. not to throw us under the bus Dave, but we are really good at beer and chicken wings! Russ
  7. Ok, so before I go dump this on ebay, does anyone in the western washington area need .... a one piece dash with cracks (a couple) rear armrests(black) 318 crank 318 block oil pan(m10) 4 roundie amber center lenses It's taking up space and I need to get the front end rebuilt(courtesy of Blunts cool parts I bought from him) in that space. SO...if you need any of the aformentioned parts or 3 toolboxes(one craftsman) and want to bring beer....since it is finally going to be over frikin 70 in the area, come and get em... Thanks, Russ p.s. I like Rogue Deadguy or Pliney the Elder. And....email me thru the faq. I will be home all day sunday contemplating getting older and probably mowing the lawn.
  8. Geeze John, when your in the area, we'll take you to the great BBQ(ok, so it is an old gas station) but it is great and beer and yeah, we probably could have hit your plane from Dave's place! And back on topic again....the wife and I have tomtom's and they work great, no problems and mine even recognizes the city your in when you start searching. Pretty cool.
  9. What is the offset? Thanks, Russ
  10. Steve, Not sure how to put this, but I am an electrical ninny since I tried to change an outlet when I was 16, and got some house current...so I went to Lowes, found someone who knew what they were talking about or at least I believed they did. They showed me how to wire up the compressor, the plug needed with the appropriate gauge of wire, the box, everything I needed, then proceeded to show me how to do the master wiring on the panel box. I bought the stuff, (the wiring was already in the conduit for the 220) and did it all my self and have had no repercussions.(house burning down, massive shocks when turning on the compressor, etc.) It is really easy to do! Probably took me longer time wise than it should, but it works and I had my neighbors dad who is an electrician come look at it when I was done and he said "looks nice". If I did it, you can too! Russ
  11. Thanks guys! John, the welder you have is the one I was eyeballing at the local shop. The guys there said it was one of the better and easy to use 110v they had. As well it would do down to 22 or 24 gauge steel ok, and I think the '02 has a bunch or 20 gauge in it. Steve, I did the same thing. Wired the 220 in one spot so I could do that and the big compressor on 220v is GREAT! The guys at the welding shop said that a dual 110v/220v is also good, but for my non everyday welding the 110v that John has is the better unit overall. I am just going to do sheetmetal(rockers and trim holes)nothing heavy duty (bridges, aerial cranes, tanks, howitzers) Best, Russ
