    Late model cars have the intermittent seting on the wipers with a 4 position lever. If you are taking them both apart the late model wiring harness has relays for the lights that I don't believe the early models had., might be an improvement

    I have one in central florida, I got it with another car was told it had been rebuilt, I don't know its history but from what I've seen it is in good condition, with correct compression. Do you need the complete motor or just the long block ?

    Go to the Tii registry, The knowledge base there has the factory video to set up the pump and linkage correctly. The fuel mixture is controlled in the throttle body, there is no way to alter the fuel delivery from the pump. Your mechanic needs an exhaust gas analyzer to set the fuel mixture correctly, They are available on ebay ( Heathkit about 150.00 )
