    I've got a '73 automatic and I love it. It's still plenty powerful and fun to drive. I've even got a spare auto trans sitting in the garage for when mine finally gives. If any auto haters come across any parts - feel free to send em to me. However, I definitely would like to do some more gear shifting, but that's what having two 2002s will be for.

    It was a fantastic run, and despite the soggy conditions, an excellent day. I'm especially glad everyone made it out OK and that the only casualties were that electric fence and the beers we had post-drive. I hope we can get everyone together for a summer drive - I don't think I can wait until the fall! Here's some more pictures, although not as artsy as Jason's hipstamatic photos.     I've got a '73 auto and I love it. it's got the original transmission with 140k on the clock and it still shifts like a boss. standard shifts are great, but the auto is still a lot of fun. The automatic 2002 is going the way of the dinosaur because everyone wants to convert them to 5 speeds. I plan on keeping mine auto, because it's freakin sweet.

    i have a cable out of a '73 auto if you want to try it. I pulled it to replace it because the speedo stopped working, but it looked fine and the new cable didn't fix the issue - i'd say it's still good to go and it's super cheap.

    I've got a drivers rear quarter panels that I've decided to get out of my garage. It's in great shape with virtually zero rust, and if there is any nothing thats serious. I've been told that it came from 2002 AD, as I received it when i bought my '02, if that means anything to you about their condition. I know they want 450 (i think each) for them, but I certainly don't (unless you'd really like to pay it, i am a starving student).
