    I think that this guy is right. Look at the holes. They are weld burn through. No big deal.... take car of it now, while the metal around it is still really strong. Is this a 5 speed conversion car? I have seen this a good mount from people trying to "revise" the tranny mounts... Nice car.

    The option was from the factory, as well as an aftermarket option. It was called the "Dianna", and offered a few other options along with it. I "believe" that it was an option from 73 on. As for the value of the car, Who really knows anymore.... My friend Jeff sold my old Tii [after a ton of work and pain] for 26K last year, and it was nice.....but. I sold a beautiful modified Tii a few months ago for only 17.5K. The guy got a deal and a half! Last year, it would have been a 28-32K car with no questions. The mods were tasteful to most. I would think that a car in this state, minus the f'ed up antena detail [what the.....?] would be a solid 35K in this market, AND the owner would take a loss on it. These cars really are thinning out here.... at least the really nice ones. I wish him good luck with the sale. We all should. The economy sucks over there too!

    SoCal Vintage BMW Meet this weekend....... ON THIS SATURDAY.... We are doing a drive throught the Angeles Crest, and ending up back at my house (kinda like last year) for a BBQ. It looks like it will be a lot of fun. My wife is trying to get a head count for food, so if you can make it, then let us know, and go to the site to sign up! While you are there..... Sign up for the SoCalVintageBMW main meet in October on the 24th. This year it will be in Woodley Park in Van Nuys again, but we are inviting ALL vintage BMWs E30, E28, E24, E23, E21, E12, PLUS all of the 02's, coupes and Neue Klasse cars. It is going to be a great show, with some pretty big surprises this year too! Sign up early for the show, and the BBQ this weekend is free. I hope to see everyone there.

    E12s!!!! Don't forget the E12s. Last year, they were not included. And the E12 was built from 1972 till 1981. They first came in the US in 1975 along the 2002.     I will drive mine for events, and every 3-4 weekends for spirited drives. They need to be able to stretch their legs! I have an E23 and an E28 on the policy too. I drive them a bit more, but still under my yearly mileage.

    You asked for it, You got it! SoCal VintageBMW and Groma Race Fab are pleased to announce that we will have the Streets of Willow Track ALL TO OURSEVES from 8AM to 4PM on Saturday! Saturday is unheard of to have a personal track day..... BUT... it is the 4th of July! If you are there by 8AM, you could be out by 2, and have plenty of time for family and BBQ! This is what a lot of us have been waiting for! AND, instead of the usual $250.00+ for limited track time, SoCal Vintage people will only pay $200.00 each, and have the track ONLY FOR US!     I know Ron Perry quite well...... He has owned/sold some of the finest BMWs in the country. He is first rate in my book. He has an eye for detail that a very few people have. I also happen to know the car, and the owner.... He is on this board quite a bit. This car IS flawless. It IS all original. It IS a great car to see in person. Someone with an appreciation for "perfect" original cars is going to purchase this car and be VERY VERY happy. Good Luck Guys!
