  2. Event Title: SoCal Vintage BMW Morning Drive & 2002AD Event Location: Los Angeles, California Event Author: JohnBarlow Event Date: 05/28/2022 09:00 AM We will meet up between 8-8:30 at Carbon Canyon Coffee Company: 150 Olinda Place in Brea. Perfect pitstop location and they have decent drinks as well. Our short drive will start at 9:00 through highway 142 and we will end up at 2002 AD for coffee and donuts. This will be a very casual cruise. Sponsor spotlight: 2002AD 2002AD has been in business for over 45 years, starting as a 2002 dismantler/used parts seller/repair business in Sun Valley. They've expanded their parts sales business over the years to new parts and performance parts as well, and now sell every part for the 2002 whether it's used, new, rebuilt, or performance, over the phone and through their on-line catalog. They have the biggest inventory of 2002 parts anywhere, and they ship parts nationally and internationally on a daily basis. See them at the open house to discuss and purchase whatever parts your car is missing or that are worn or incorrect. 2002AD has a large service business as well, servicing mostly 2002s but also CSs, E21s, E30s, E28s and all other classic BMW models, being one of the only places in SoCal that owners of these cars can go now. They also continue to restore 2002s, as they did at their Valley location, and they receive cars to be restored--or have A/C, 5-speed transmission, engine tuning, or other conversion work performed--from all over the US as well as from Canada and Mexico. The level of their restorations range from daily-driver paint jobs up through full frame-off restorations with every upgrade imaginable. Finally, since their move to Pomona 16 years ago, 2002AD has been putting more emphasis on car sales. They have a thriving 2002 car sales business, and also import Euro-version 2002s themselves to supply the demand for these rare cars here in the U.S. You can often find 2002 Turbos, Euro-version tiis, or cabriolets in their inventory. 2002 AD is located at 395 E. Commercial St. Pomona, CA 91767 Phone:909-629-1955 http://2002ad.com SoCal Vintage BMW Morning Drive & 2002AD

  8. Looking for a good 1 piece dash.... hoping maybe someone can bring one to SoCal Vintage this weekend?
  9. I am looking for some help to find the original block for my Tii! Block VIN number 2761085. It was last seen by me about 8 years ago, and was at Groma Race Fabrication (MANOFIED) or at Ireland Engineering. In its last known state, it had the front cover swapped to standard M10, had a 121 head, and dual Mikuni Sidedrafts. If any any of you out there might know where the engine is now, in whatever state, please let me know! I would love for the two to be reunited! Thanks! Hope to see you at SoCal Vintage on November 2nd!

  14. 02 and e21 people..... I need your help please I need a single [or two] 6x15 Alpina 4x100 open lug wheel. I have been looking, and had a few people that thought they had real ones, but were not. I am drawing close to the end of a project, and really need to complete this set. Any leads would be a huge help. Thank you
  15. SO.... I went out to make sure of what I need, and it turns out that I need a single 15x6 NOT 15x7. I am hoping that this will be a bit easier?! Any leads, please let me know. Thanks.
  16. Good Morning.... really need a favor from someone. I have a set of 3 15x7 alpina rims 4x100 for an E21, REALLY need just one more. Will buy 2 if I need to. SOMEONE out there must have one odd one to sell?! Thanks! Trying to meet the Bimmerfest deadline!
  17. Does anyone out there know anyone with a 5th wheel trailer, for multi car towing? I need to get 3-4 cars from NoCal to SoCal this week. The guy I know is pregnant or something. If you have any leads.......PLEASE let me know ASAP Thanks

  19. You COULD call it a turbo.... Though it was not a factory, one, it SURE WAS BEAUTIFUL!
  20. I heard that someone got in an accident yesterday after leaving the event? Blue 2002? Does anyone have details? I hope everyone was ok! Thank everyone that came to the meet yesterday! I heard overall that it was great, though I didn't even have a minute to walk the show! We had a great turn out of Neue Klasse cars! The 02's seemed really light this year, about 1/2 of the usual..............Whats going on?! I miss them! NO turbos, NO tourings. Again THANK YOU! See you next year in force!

  22. Hey, Just wanted to put it out there, if anyone is driving in town for the SoCal Vintage BMW show this weekend, and needs a place to crash on Friday OR Saturday, email me off list. We should be able to get it done. It may not be 5 star, but cheaper/easier/more fun than a hotel! There will be a bunch of us going over there 1st thing Saturday AM from here.
