In ideal world someone would make a 205/65-13 as that’s the correct diameter. I don’t remember ever seeing any available, ever. -

What state is it headed to, and is there a chance the new owner will share any adventures here in the 2002FAQ? -
My parents owned this car in the mid eighties till selling it to friends in Sacramento CA in the summer of 1993. The current owner also resides in Sacramento. I have at least one photo of the car from the eighties, and will post it when it’s found and scanned.

Even if it wasn’t built from a real 1600ti, it’d STILL be super cool!

I can see having an electric one as a daily, that can be allowed to go downtown, and at least one more that still has an M10 that runs on $10 a gallon synthetic fuel that I take out on weekends. Fingers crossed that we’ll still be able yo drive our classics with ICE motors on a non petroleum fuel in the future.

My dad’s Tisa has a DCOE9 and a correct DCOE16. He and I have picked up a couple of pairs of 15/16s, so don’t really need the 9 anymore… -

Gentlemen, that change of color and texture in the outer wheel well photo is simply showing old caked on dirt, and the clean painted area is where rain water sprayed off the tire keeping that area cleaner. I’ve seen it many times. What a wonderfully preserved time capsule of a ‘67 1600! Hopefully the next owner understands how unusually rare it is as it is, and doesn’t do a thing with it but preserve its originality. No restoration needed with this one, perhaps just a sympathetic cleaning and detail.

I already posted a photo of an advertisement of a US E30 with steel wheels, with hubcaps. That you replied to. With sharing these two earlier Euro market ones with the same steel wheels, I was only pointing out examples that these are standard E30 wheels to the original poster and others here who might not know. It wasn’t about you. ? -
Actually, they didn’t do that very often in these. Most that I used to see back then were bog standard. I was in high school in the San Francisco Bay Area when they were new.
