Factory dealer options you have seen or have pix of

I once saw on Ebay a "OEM" item. Its was a headlight wiper for the 76' headlights, in a BMW package new but never installed or used. Anyone seen this or other type of cool factory options?

Also, i keep seeing a rear window shade or velour (sorry if misspelled) for the 2002 or 1600. Is this legit?

Headlight wipers where installed from factory on 74-75 cars sold here in Sweden. (Dont need them anymore so i guess most of them has been removed...)

Many thanks. I have only seen these once on Ebay and i wasnt even sure they for the 2002's. I was tempted to buy them for my 76', but have since purchased my 68' 1600.

Here is a classic bug with some original window visors, wondering if they had something similar for a 2002 or 1600 back then also.

The '02 doesnt have a window frame to attach the visor to like the VW does, so I doubt it.

There was another ebay auction (I think there was a poll on here about how high it would go) that had a pic of the glove box lock installed on the car. It mounted through the "ledge" on the dash.

I've also seen some '02's that have a fold down arm rest on the back seat. Was that an option ?

To the best of my knowledge the fold down armrest in the back was part of the Lux trim package that also included real wood trim on the main dash cluster, around the ashtray, and wood interior door trim. Also map pockets as per the big six sedans of the era, and a nice wood shift knob. The Lux upholstery was a velour material and carpet much more plush than the standard offering. Actually, it again was the same material used in the big six cars of the era. The Lux trim was never offically imported by Hoffman Motors.

The rear seat fold-down armrest was part of the Lu package IIRC. It also included door pockets and a few more bits.
