Same here - there was a big outfit in Waterbury Ct called Beckers which has a pretty amazing web site and great price list but is shut.

I have a small shop next town over in Danbury Ct "Chemcoat" that is doing good work, have had pedal box, a set of BMW alloys and other stuff done but they can't do the exhaust manifold special hi temp coating.

No major wheel manufacturer recommends powdercoating your wheels, in fact, several caution against it.

The problem is the heat required to 'flow' the powder, especially in the relatively poorly controlled ovens out there, cause the alloy wheel to lose it's temper. Conventional painting is the recommended procedure.

You really don't want to have a wheel shatter. And guess what? If it does, it ain't gonna be while it's parked in your driveway!
