02 in Rallying

I am trying to followup on a question about the history of the 02 in the rally world. Besides the early 70s activity mentioned at the link below, does anyone know of any other significant involvement ?

The BMW Mobile Tradition Profiles book references/states:

- several European hillclimb championships by Furtmayr

- in 1972, 7 national rally championships by 1602 or 2002s

- 1973 saw numerous rally successes for 02s

They don't list details other than Furtmayr

There's these guys:

*Edit: This is the 1971 Press-On-Regardless-Rally "Press Stage" photos with Erhard Dahm at the wheel and Tom Campbell co-driving. Tom Grimshaw was listed as the co-driver for the actual rally but had the flu on the day prior to the start- missing the Press Stage R&T photo-op. The FIA was scouting the event for possible inclusion in the World Rally Points chase. The POR Rally has been the ONLY Internationally sanctioned event ever held exclusively in Michigan's Upper Peninsula ("Say Yah to Da UP, eh!").

"Erhard Dahm stories" are legend among rallyists and racers, and likely the inspiration of at least one "Stroker Ace" chapter.

I have a great interest in the early 02 race cars of the 68 and 69 seasons. Especially those cars that competed in the 1969 Monte Carlo Rally. it is very difficult to find any solid information but i have a few pieces of inspiration on my blog. Check it out here.
