BMW 2000 Engine Swap?

How nice of a 2000 is it? Might not be a good idea for such a rare car here in the US. I would think the M20 would be easy. I have seen pictures of one in Europe with an S-14 in it.

Isn't there a Malaga one too?

John

I think the car you're referring to is a really sweet Malaga from Germany with alpina steelies. It's got a 2.3 s14 bottom end and m10 head running a couple of webers. I saw it in Holland this year and it was one of the quickest, if not the quickest in a short drag race they set-up. Sweet car.

E21's (which appear to have a similar sized engine bay as an NK) but it's a VERY tight fit, and the resulting car is pretty nose heavy. If there's room for an M20 but you don't want an engine with a cam belt that has to be changed every 60K, how about an early, non-Vanos M50?
