WTT: euro 70' bumpers for 73'

the mounting brackets; the three blade sections are identical (except the 73 has rubber strips on the ends and the 70 doesn't), and you can interchange the bumperettes.

US '73 cars have a much heavier bracket that bolts through the frame rails with long 17mm bolts; 68 to 72 cars, both US and Euro have much lighter, shorter brackets that fasten to the frame rails with carriage bolts inserted into keyhole-shaped slots.

In theory you could add the rubber strip to an "early" bumper. However, you'd need to drill a number of holes in it as that's how the strip mounts. You are correct that there are two different lengths of side blades. I always think of the model year '72 and '73 (rear bumper) as having the longer ones, while model year '71 and early have the shorter sides. As mentioned earlier, on the front bumper the center section is identical for both generations, but the corner pieces vary as the later ones also have the rubber strip on them.

It's correct as far as it goes. On the rear, the side pieces are longer starting with the modell 71 cars (mid 1971 model year) and there's a rubber strip that goes around all three chrome pieces.

The rear brackets on a 73 US car (only) space the bumper about two inches out from the body, but the brackets themselves will fit the bodies of both the 68-72 and the 73 cars--same mounting holes.

sorry for the incomplete info above--I read your original question as about front bumpers only.
