CARB TUNING?

Dont know ANYTHING about tuning a carb.........but i hitnk my 02' could uses a tuning on the carb, any suggestions???

a little more back ground from you might help,

like your level of mechanical ability?, a detailed

description of your car ie. Running symptoms?,

mechanical condition?, how many owners?, how

long has the car been INACTIVE?, Checked the

ignition timing ?, how old is the gas in the tank?

Last valve adjustment?, Compression test results?,

Any MICE living - or ever lived in the air cleaner or

under the main fuse box area?,can you drive it

at 78MPH?, do you just drive around the block

say every 2nd weekend?, driving it 200 miles per week?

do you know where the IDLE MIXTURE , IDLE SPEED,

and FAST COLD IDLE SPEED adjustment screws are ?

What is the sensor bolted to the front KF pump cover?

I also see an oversized alternator pulley.

Sorry to hijack. Please don't hit the poor carb with the hammer. If it's no good, the maybe "chuck it over the fence into the neighbor's pool" - right CD?

mechanical TACHOMETER drive

I wouldn't mess with it too much if it's running good. If not you can take it off and clean the crap out of it with carb cleaner. Stock settings on the idle mix screw is 2 1/2 turns counter clockwise.
