As far as the paintings are concerned it is sure that customer wishes had been taken into account. Deviations from the official colours POLARIS and CHAMONIX were available. The colours were defined by

There should be a plate next to the VIN with the color listed. Take lots of pics!   Cheers,

something went wrong above...

Hello Steve, the car under restoration was the "black" one, on the chamonix one I only substitued a transmission ball bearing and now I have a problem with alternator. As you can see in the photo the "black" now is Polaris as reported in the BMW certificate, I will sell one of two...I don't know yet which one...

Understood now! Too many factory turbos: a good problem to have!
