Great pics, I had planned on attending with my 72 Volvo 1800ES since Volvo was the featured marque, also since I was there with the 02 M Roadster for Homecoming 08, I thought it would make a pleasant change.

I did not make it. Dang.

CD, we need to stage another factory invasion sometime soon. There was talk some time ago of doing another 020202-type event there, but I don't know what happened,

Had a chance to drive one of the new twin-turbo 3 series on a small wet/dry autocross course and all I can say is WOW! BMW still has the touch....

Thanks for posting those. I was bummed I missed the show this year but hopefully I will make it next year with my 2002. It is sad though that there are so few 02's at this show. It seems like there should be a lot more.

Don't know, since I didn't get to meet the owner, but wasn't Zach's car Anthracite?. I did chat for a while with the owners of the red flared car, John Applegit and his wife. Very nice couple who live right in the Spartanburg area. They are organizing an Upstate SC Vintage BMW Group and plan to make it to the Vineyards next year.

Carrosene, I'll check to see if I have anu other pics of the M3. It was for sale, by the way. I was planning to drive up from Atlanta in the Baur, but it still has carb problems. I am planning on getting the Weber 38/38 conversion kit for it.

Are you having your car worked on at Carma? I live really close to there and I remember you mentioning them once.

Id love to buy an M3 like that but sadly my uncle has 2 of them he wants to sell and I can't even afford his. So sad.
