My First 2002

Hello All

I just bought this Riveria Blue 73 2002 last weekend. The body is in good shape, hardly any rust. I had been searching for 6 months for a really nice one, this car definitly met all my criteria. It has only 106k and an all original interior that is in exceptional shape for being 35 years old!!! Previous owner had the car for 15 years and only put 3k miles on it, and it shows!!

I plan on working on the brakes and suspension first, they need the most attention. I can't say how excited I am to own one of these. They have this indescribable classiness to them that's timeless. I have wanted a 2002 since I was 16; 9 years later I made it a reality.

I was in the VW scene before this with a MKI GTI, and a regular on VWVortex. I look forward to particpating in this forum!!

VERY nice and clean -

I'm ordinarily against any non turbo '02 with flares but these look great.

The car has a good, original stance.

Look forward to pix of the engine compartment & interior.
