NGK BP5ES or BP6ES?

Thanks to this great forum, I think I have concluded that NGK is a better choice than Bosch when it comes to plugs (generally speaking).

I run a 38/38 Weber, ti higher compression pistons and electronic ignition with stock coil in my '76, so I am wondering whether BP5ES is too hot for this engine (I only drive the car in the summer and fall, so relatively high temperatures). Would BP6ES be a better choice? ...

Thanks in advance!

BP6ES is stock for many 02 engine models. So yes, if you say higher compressions, 6 would be better. Maybe even 7, but if you've been ok with 5 don't change more than one step.
