73' Round Verona Full Resto

Little update whilst I'm wresting the two DCOE heavy weights attached to the engine.

There is a stop on the linkage, but I didn't want to rely on that in sprited driving, a little ugly, but pretty innocuous.

Leaving the Bat Cave for the first time in about 2.5 years for our maiden voyage. Ran like a bucket of sh!t, but that wasn't enough to wipe the grin off my face.....

Really nice work done there Felix666,! Your car looks stunning!

I'm on a 74tii... but far from where you are now, and rust is the first problem to be adressed! Many parts to be replaced. I post some pics to let you enjoy even more the job you've done!

Congratulations

JP

Yikes, hope you're friendly with that MIG, don't forget to clean before you weld, much better penno. Thanks for the comments.

Had my carbs properly sorted this week $$$$$ but it drives 5 times better than I had it tuned and uses half the fuel.

My chokes went from 33 to 30 and the mains are down to 115, which leaned things right out.

Couple more things to iron out, but getting it registered was a big milestone.

My temp backup external relief valve has been swapped to a 65 psi check valve which has been working a treat combined with the oil pressure gauge to keep my heart rate in check. Much less effort and nerve than the manual needle valve.
