I bought the '71 2002 from Sacramento Craigslist

OK...so I purchased this Riveira Blue '71 2002 from the Sacramento Craiglist. I had to play with some electric gremlins and got some input from Curt Ingram. I also added some 14 x 6 MSW wheels and tires over the existing 320 wheels.

So I have some suspension goods to add: Front and Rear Bilsteins and some H&R Springs. It needs some interior work but don't they all. I have a set of Recaros for it. The carpet and other stuff will come later.

Cheers,

Good luck w/your new car, Jim! Your car is what I should have gotten in the 1st place: Riviera, Roundie, Calif. car, & ready for a little fix-up & go. I love mine, but that is a very nice looking car. I would probably do a Calif. road-trip to pick up a car if I was to buy one now. Not as much to choose from here.

Welcome back to the world of 02's and that's a fine

looking car you picked up there.

The 2nd 02 I ever owned, a 71, I purchased from Jim.

A great guy.

My girlfriend and I took the Amtrak down from Portland,

bought the car from Jim, and drove it back to Oregon.

Good to see you 'round these parts, Jim.

Hey Jim...

I've got a 75 with a 5-speed conversion that will be parted out. I also have a great 72 driver (w/ 5-speed) and a 70, I'm planning to totally restore.

Yes, I do have parts....drop me a line at jwcurryATyahooDOTcom

Sorry for the personal thread folks....moving it off-faq.
