Carol Self may want to hit you if Mike brings home 2 orphaned Dauphines for his growing menagery of autos in need of a good home! I recently saw the Lane Auto Museum in Nashville. I think that Mike needs an old Sunbeam Bakery to store all of his cars and parts in as well.... JIM

sources to keep my 4CVs running...Actually the late model Dauphines (64-67) were pretty decent cars. About 1400 lbs, 40 hp (same power to weight ratio as a Mk 1 or Mk 2 Sprite), four wheel disk brakes (!), 4 speed all synchro gearbox and pretty reliable (Bosch electrics) if the oil is changed regularly and it's never allowed to overheat. And...if you stay away from the automatics.

And Jim is right--I'd be in a world of hurt if I brought yet another car home...
