Found WTB: NK Shift Lever

Looking for a Neau Klasse Shift lever, the one with a tall upper section.  The lower section can be trashed (or missing).

@AceAndrew FYI there is 2 styles of NK shifter levers. Straight and one with a slight curve/bend. I installed one like it in the 02 I just finished building!

Ah! Of course you have already done this!  haha, should have known.

 

The lower section I've been working on a "short shift" straight piece, so as long as the upper section is straight, then that should work.

A few years after parting company with my '02 and driving the NK, I was invited to drive a stock '76 '02. I found the short shift lever annoying. I had to bend over to even reach it (confession: I am not a tall person).

 

But in all my years of NK ownership I don't recall ever seeing an NK shift lever for sale.  Not that I was looking lol ... I suppose they are still out there somewhere in the interwebs, though.

Was at CoupeKing this morning and of course there was a survivor black plate 2000cs sitting out front... mocking me.  Eric said that I could dive into his hoard if needs be.  We'll see.

If someone considers making this SSK upgrade with a chrome NK shaft, I'm a buyer. I've been looking to do the same.

^I am, and needed the shaft portion.  If you find one I can point you in the right direction.
