Bent trailing arm at wheel mount

Huh.

 

Wonder if the shock mounting took a hit, and bent it that way?

 

Me, I guess I'd try carefully to bend it back, and if it really doesn't want to go,

not worry too much about it.  That flange is pretty malleable, and also not mission

critical, so I'd have at it.  A big Crescent(tm) wrench, maybe?

If it will make you feel better give it a wack with a hammer, but if that bothers you on a 50 year old car you would be best served tossing your straight edge in the trash.

Thanks, that’s what I hoped. Wanted to make sure it didn’t compromise the brakes or anything like that
