Hey! Maybe it's an opportunity to scale-build my EV Swap as a mockup!!!

 

 

Any other model builders out there? I always loved model building as a kid... Should get back into it. Since the pandemic I've been playing with 1:24th scale crawlers lately and building my own RC planes. Fun hobbies!

it was fun, and now you are making me want to build another car model.

Can't wait to see how the project progresses... It's worth going back, or starting at the first vid where he cuts the hood and trunk free. So cool.

I still have the '36 Ford roadster I built as a kid--I divided it down the middle and built one side as a barn find, complete with rust, dented fenders, stuffing coming out of the upholstery etc.  The other side I built as a restored car.  Won a first prize in a model contest with it too!

 

Maybe I should build the 2002 Turbo model that's languishing in my basement unbuilt the same way.

My all-time fave.  It was over 20” long. The detail was amazing. Took me forever back then…
