Sunroof Wind Deflector - Plexi

Looking for Weathertech - model number for our E10's Plexiglass Wind Deflector.

 

In review, plexiglass, w/rubber gasket, clips attach to roof and plastic thumb nut and screw hold it all together.

 

I know of no reseller ...all the usual suspects....that sells this part

I believe the orginal supplier was Clim Air - (presently Weather Tech supplier ) 

Weather Tech has never heard of a 2002 .....("yes, but what model BMW is it ?")

Try telling weather tech it's a 1600. You could also run the part number by max or blunt and w&n

I used my E23 one on my type 114. Should fit many years.

Might Behr have  been the supplier or one of the suppliers?  My ‘72 project has that style.  It has not been on the road in many years, but has a partial sticker.

It was an OEM dealer accessory in the mid-to-late 1970’s. But there have been other similar offerings over the years, not from BMW. I still see OEM examples from time to time, however. The example shown in your three photos — initial post — are of an OEM unit. Someone recently had one for sale, but it was missing the two metal brackets.
