Got my package from Bill today!  He's in the SF, CA area - is he on the forum?

I don't think so, but I don't know for sure.

I hate to admit it (being the old guy that I am), but I found it on Reddit...  www.reddit.com/r/bmw2002

Hey everyone-- @irdave mentioned this post and I wanted to say hi and thanks for the support!

I bought a 1975 BMW 2002 in Portland in 2015 from a guy that said the rust damage would only be about $500 to repair. My 1st mistake was trusting him and the second mistake was not checking the lugs resulting in the rear left wheel flying off on the highway. 2 years later the car is back on the road with a new floor a friend and I welded in and we're tackling some left frame rail rot next.

I created http://whatyearisthat.com as a way to share some of the subtle details that I love about the 2002. So far I've made tail light patches and a Fahrt Start Halt pin based on the ignition. I've been very thankful for all of the support from the 2002 community!
