I agree with Esty, any complete car at 2k i'd take for parts alone... and I don't like stripping cars for parts.

I agree to run. Run far. Run fast. Unless you're into selling parts instead of building a 2002. Just my opinion based on my own experience- others may have a better way.

Thanks for the advice, I'm just really looking for a good unifrom body to do an m20 swap. Don't really mind the interior as much or motor. The big question is should I buy local (bronx of which I think have bad bmw 2002s) or ship from somewhere else and from where? Any advice? Much appreciated

Just buy from dry climate, its not that hard to find someone here on forum to look at it, and I would rather pay 1000 for shipping on a dry car than...10,000 on rust repairs.

Shock towers already repaired once before, no floors?, rockers have got to be toast. Offer $1,000 and part it out... I'd like the seats and door cards    and maybe some rear panel parts

Not Florida! Haha it's humid and swampy down there, lot of rusty cars. California, Arizona, and even Portland and Washington 02s are usually decent with minor rust.
