other Malaga 02 Sighting In Dallas

I recently moved from SoCal to Dallas to work on a startup that I cofounded in college. It's been a big change, but so far I'm loving Texas. Unfortunately I left my '02 in SoCal with pops, I'll have to work out how to get it. For now I'm driving a '96 318ti California Edition with 67k miles. 

 

 

Anyways, the other day I was driving on Mockingbird and I saw a Malaga squaretail parked in a driveway. I took a picture but I won't post it because it looked like a house. Was that anyone here?

There is a strong 02 community in Dallas.  You will usually find several members of TX2002 group meet monthly at the Dallas Cars & Coffee, first Saturday of the month (so this coming weekend) located on N. Dallas Parkway and Spring Creek Parkway up in Plano.   Members of the group meet for beers and car talk, rally with Lone Star BMW Car Club, exchange parts/ideas, etc.   Come out this Saturday and meet us - usually 3-5 02s at the Cars & Coffee along with 200-300 other cars.    I plan to be there with my '76 Anthracite 2002.

Unfortunately I'll be in LA visiting my parents this weekend! And the first weekend of Nov is the F1 race in Austin, so I may be at that. I was spoiled having C and C every saturday in SoCal. I got to C and C in Plano a little late last month and missed most of you. Any other monthly meets? I'd love to meet up with some of you and explore some back roads if there are any, or just help work on cars.
