My turns and flashers work but the blinker indicator is intermittent at best.

 

 

a very easy and inexpensive fix to your blinker issue is use an off the rack electronic flasher...2 of my cars had the same problem, i read about the elect flasher when i was hooking up lights on the 69, bought 2 at autozone and no more blinkers with their own agenda...they blink when told now

Fantastic!  On the way.  I for one believe a indicator should speak when spoken to. 

 

Is this the beast?

that one may work but the one most commonly talked about at FAQ and the one i used is this one...i got them at autozone and iirc, they cost less than $10.00 ea

wired like this:

 

Black/White to the "X" terminal (12V power)
Green/Yellow to the "L" terminal (Load)
Green/Violet to the "P" (Instrumentation)

 

no ground wire is used or necessary
