I did want to post one more thing, I made a posting on the SoCal Group about maybe getting together on the 7th of December for Cars & Coffee and then cruizing Santiago Canyon. Check it out and let me know what you guys think.

p.s.  in deference to LimeySteve's heritage .... just "up the street" from Heroes is Olde Ship Tavern, my local pub ..... they have a small parking lot out back ...... Guinness on tap and great pub grub ........

i figure car& coffee then Santiago canyon after. What time do people meet for cars & coffee? heck, I don't even know where it's at. I've been talking to Mike about it, he's been before. Let me know what you think

Here's the cars and coffee website, which you can find direction/details at. Its usually early morning. 6:30-7ish and people tend to leave starting at 9 and most are gone before noon.

I went there last month and by 6:30 there are a lot of cars already !!!

The meet takes place in the parking lot between the Taco Bell building and the Mazda building; people start to clear out around 0830 and it clears out quickly.

Because it's early, you might consider a coast drive - take the 133 south into Laguna then take PCH north until you get to HB, stop for breakfast at the Harbor House (sunset beach); Just a thought
