Chin spoiler for 74

A friend of mine custom makes them for Alfa GTV's. Its a small duck bill spoiler like in the last photos above. He said he can make them a little wider to accomodate our cars. He also wanted to know why I had a BMW 2002 and not another Alfa or Ferrari(he is very tempermental) I told him it was either the 02 or a Maserati Biturbo. He then understood completely.

Thank you sir, it would be great to see it on a car to get an idea of the fit and appearance. I live in SF, the land of hills and Third-World quality streets. A big air dam is not as appealing as a smaller chin spoiler.

I have duck bill questions. Were there two different noses? I have a 74Tii and it has a drop lip. Not seeing how the bill fit without a 45 degree mount angle. Did you heat and shape the angle besides the V?

i have the drop lip as well which i had to trim some of it at the ends. the duckbill is angled down at about a 45 degree angle but i did have to modify the center section of the duckbill to have a slight point to it (instead of straight across).

Just got my duckbill about 10 minutes ago from bfi. Great service. The two pieces are two different shades of black. No big. I am painting anyway

Question? Is there a difference in the width of the later model 02? My duckbill spans the width.

must be some variation... mine almost spans the width but I have an angle change about 3 inches from either edge...the angle goes forward some.

I am going to try a low heat gun and try and match the groove after I bolt it together...

Mine is staying black.... pics (not installed as I have body issues) tomorrow...mine came from BFI too.

This is my Kami spoiler from Pierre Nice and a lot of fiberglass where it's needed also has a nice return lip on bottom to attach skid plates.

I currently have an IE, but looking for something different.  Managed to find an old build thread that linked to an old Datsun thread with install.  Ordered one today!
