The three relays in your photo, located above the battery, are for the low-beam lights, high-beam lights, and the horn.

The turn-signal relay is located on the body panel right near the hood release handle. It's a little smaller than a pack of cigarettes I think. You'll need to remove the outboard, cardboard underdash panel to get to it.

thanks guys. Is there a diagram which identifies the relays and shows the various locations? Since there doesn't seem to be one location for all the relays.

relays--the smaller one is for turn signals, the larger one that says "Wisch-Wasch-Geber" is the wiper/washer relay (only on mid '71 and later cars).

Those are the only two factory relays that aren't in the engine compartment.

cheers

The Wisch Wasch Geber on my car is the smaller one. There's a huge one that is hung by a bolt and can be swiveled. Trying to get a better photo

I got a new Wisch-Wasch-Geber relay not long ago on the WTB board here.

Might try that and see what comes up. Also, might try this guy to see if he has one.

shermanmartinez@hotmail.com

He's on this board fairly often and has lots of '02 stuff.

Additionally, they are $45.29 here:

Found a unit for $8 from Autozone that works great. It was my luck as I had ordered the $70 part but when i arrived at the store 30 minutes away they told me the part wasn't on the last delivery truck. I was pissed. They told me it would be in for sure by tomorrow. I canceled that order and while there nother customer told me about the $8 unit from Autozone and the rest is history.

Can you tell me more about that autozone unit?
Here's a pic along with price and order number. Part number is EL13. Works great. No need to ground as it's electronic. So you only use three wires.

you have to take apart the plastic white coupler that this relay plugs into. four wires going into the coupler holding them in a position that lines up with the factory relay. once you've taken apart the coupler, you'll just have four wires hanging down.
