Seat ID?

Anybody recognize these? Taking my driver's seat out to be refurbished and just curious as to what these came out of.

This is just a wild guess, but i'm thinking they came from the set of 'Alien' circa 1979...but that's just a guess of course (j/k)

I'm not sure but they almost look like old Renault R17 Gordini sport seats from the late 70's (76-77?) No don't ask, I did not own one, just had to work on a few back in the dark ages.

I'm going to guess it's from something domestic from the 80s

Any markings on the knobs, or underside? The split thigh support is pretty cool.

looks very close, but just not quite early Mitsubishi Starion/Dodge Conquest. Maybe some other Mitsu?

No obvious markings. Might find something once I have the seat out. I'll update if/when I figure it out.

Holy crap, I am getting old!! And if you think they are ugly on the outside just drive one. BTW they were 4 speed with the shifter on the tree.

I think there was an H.R. Giger poster featuring those on the inside of the Dead Kennedys album Frankenchrist... But its been a long time since I have seen it..

I've seen these seats in an 02 in SoCal as well. His were brown though. He had no idea what they were. Very cool.
